About us

Hello, my name is Andrew and I’m the person that started Friends Together, the gay, lesbian and bi-sexual social group.

I started Friends Together to meet new people, make new friends and provide you with a relaxing and informal way to meet new people and hopefully make new friends.  I am delighted to have made many friends over the last couple of years.

I oversee the running of Friends Together with my partner Adrian.

Together with your help, we aim to provide all our members with regular and varied social events.  Whilst we will oversee the day to day running of Friends Together, we encourage you (but not force you) to play an active part in organising social gatherings.  We are always interested to receive your views of how Friends Together is performing, whether it meets your expectations and importantly, what could be done better to further meet these.   We  encourage you to make Friends Together as successful as it can be and to ensure its continuance long into the future.  To aid in this we have produced two simple forms to encourage you to have your say and play an active role.
